HUSS hosts the first General Assembly of the Association of Filipino Students in Hungary

Filipino students and scholars coming from different universities all over Hungary convened on April 1, 2023, at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) in Budapest for the first-ever General Assembly, officially creating the Association of Filipino Students in Hungary.

The assembly was graced by Philippine Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Hungary H.E. Mr. Frank R Cimafranca and his spouse Mrs. Lucila C Cimafranca.

Representatives from the International Relations Center of HUSS, Ms. Gabriella Sztojalovszky and Mr. Gabor Csele, the Mabuhay Filipino Community in Hungary, Bayanihan Filipino Association, Barako Kavehaz & Bisztro, and other generous individuals also attended the event.

The Association of Filipino Students in Hungary was officially created upon the approval and ratification of the Constitution and By-laws. It was then followed by the election of officers who will serve as interim until a new set of officers is elected in October this year.
