June 4. The students of the International Coaching Course received their diplomas On the 3rd of June we held the graduation ceremony of the International Coaching Course (ICC). Altogether 14 students graduated after this 3-month intensive course, supported by the Olympic Solidarity Programme of the International Olympic Committee. 2014. June 3. The VSPORT+ project ended successfully The VSPORT+, a European Union funded project came to its end. Our Faculty was one of the partners in the consortia led by the European Observatoire of Sport and Employment. The project was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Lifelong Learning Programme and it run from November 2011 for 29 months. 2014. May 9. The first workshop of the PSS project was held in our Faculty Between the 5th and the 7th of May the first workshop of the EU-funded Pro Safe Sport for Young Athletes (PSS) project was held in our Faculty. The project is led by the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport of the Council of Europe (EPAS), and TF is one of the 14 project partners. 2014. March 25. "Sport in politics and throughout history" conference On the 21st and 22nd of March a conference was organised in the castle of the noble Károlyi family in Fehérvárcsurgó with the title “Sport in politics and throughout history”. Our Faculty was represented by two lecturers: Nikoletta Sipos-Onyestyák, assistant professor at the Department of Sport Management and Recreation and Mariann Bardocz-Bencsik, PhD student. 2014. March 19. Pro Safe Sport has just launched its new website As of 1 January 2014, the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport (EPAS) of the Council Europe implements the EU funded initiative "Pro Safe Sport for Young Athletes (PSS)" with its 14 partners - including our Faculty - from all over Europe. PSS aims at furthering the physical and mental well-being of emerging athletes, as they pursue their sporting career. An educational toolkit targeted to sport organisations and other relevant stakeholders shall "teach" how the physical and mental integrity of young athletes can be best protected and promoted. 2014. March 7. Highlights from the VSPORT+ conference On 24th and 25th of February 2014, 64 participants from 20 countries gathered in Wembley Stadium for the final conference of the VSPORT+ project. Our Faculty is one of the partners in the project consortia lead by the European Observatoire of Sport and Employment. The project is funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Lifelong Learning Programme. 2014. February 4. The Pro Safe Sport for Young Athletes project has started From the 28th to the 29th of January the kick-off meeting of the Pro Safe Sport for Young Athletes (PSS) project was held in Vienna. The European Commission awarded a grant to the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport of the Council of Europe (EPAS) to implement this project along with 14 organisations. One of the partners in the project is our Faculty. At this meeting our Faculty was represented by Mariann Bardocz-Bencsik, coordinator at the International Directorate.
